The ICTSC Home International

The 2026 ICTSC Automatic Ball Trap Home Countries International Tournament will be held in Ireland  - Details to be confirmed.

Home International Team Selection Process

Below is the process used to decide selection for the England ABT Team for Home International Team matches only (under the jurisdiction of the ICTSC).

  • There are 4 selection shoots that run between April and July. Where these shoots are held is determined by a rota. We also include the English Open ABT as one of the selection shoots.
  • Scores are submitted after the last shoot.
  • Best 3 from 4 scores may only be required to count.
  • Points from high gun of each event are calculated.
  • Shooters with the lowest points go through to represent England.
  • In the event of a tie for a place in the England Team, the highest score from the English Open will be used to decide the place.  If the tie still exists a count back from a Selection Shoot attended by all parties concerned will be used to decide the place.

  • In the event of two or more members having the same number of caps, the member with the earliest first team appearance will become Captain.  If there is still a tie, the lowest ORIGINAL CPSA number will determine the captaincy for that year.
