Championships

During the shooting season, usually April to September,  we hold nine major championships every year split across the four different disciplines of DTL, ESK, ESP and ABT. On top of this we hold the World English Sporting every other year, on rotation with our friends at the NSCA in America.   We are next due to host the Worlds in 2025. 

The major championships are open to CPSA competition members, which offers the unique opportunity for novices to shoot in competitions alongside seasoned professionals and Olympic champions.

In addition to the Majors, we also hold a host of minor championships across these disciplines but also including FSP, OTR and OSK.

All Major Championships are booked via the CPSA, whereas Minors are booked direct with the hosting grounds (unless otherwise specified).

Please note however that should you wish to make any amendments or cancel your entry after the closing date for entries, administration charges will apply. After this date, refunds will NOT be issued unless extenuating circumstances. 

New shooters are always welcome to shoot at any of our major championships and we actively encourage shooters of all backgrounds to take part in these celebratory events.
