CPSA Membership Terms and Conditions
Applying to individual membership of the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association Ltd (a company limited by guarantee, number #3146770).

Members will abide by the Articles of Association of the company and be bound by its rules.

Members will abide by the terms and conditions of membership and the website.

Members will confirm that they are aged over 16 or have permission from their guardian (providing their details to us) to use CPSA services.

Members will undertake to contribute a sum not exceeding £1 if the company is wound up, while a member.

Members consent to the use of their personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, to manage their membership.

Members will not use or allow their website account to be used for any automated data collection, data harvesting, interference with services or to circumvent any security features.

Disciplinary action may be taken against any member for misconduct, which will include any breach of the CPSA’s rules. Please see the CPSA Disciplinary Procedure for more details.

Data & Privacy

Your privacy is important to us, so we’ll always keep your details secure and never use them for marketing communications that you haven’t agreed to receive.

We collect member's date of birth and gender because our membership types and shooting categories for competitions are based on age and gender.

We will seek positive consent from you before contacting you although we may still contact you to fulfil our membership contract or where there are legitimate interests on subjects that you as a member would reasonably expect communications around e.g. AGM notices and regular newsletters.

At any time you can change your mind about whether to receive information from us, how you’re contacted for marketing purposes or update your details using the online portal and preference centre on our website or by contacting us by email info@cpsa.co.uk or phone on 01483 485 400.

Members consent to the use of their personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, on our website, which requires us to take care of the personal information you give us for specific purposes.

“We” means the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association Limited.


Clubs and Grounds
Applying to club and ground memberships of the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association Ltd (a company limited by guarantee, number #3146770).

CPSA Club and Ground members will abide by the Articles of Association of the company and be bound by its rules.

CPSA Club and Ground members will abide by the terms and conditions of membership and the website.

CPSA Club and Ground members will not use or allow their accounts, or access to CPSA services, to be used for any automated data collection, data harvesting, interference with services or to circumvent any security features.

CPSA Club and Ground members will ensure compliance with all Data Protection requirements. 

CPSA Club and Ground members will declare that they are satisfied that their shooting ground complies with relevant legislation and consents required for the safe operation of a shooting ground.

CPSA Club and Ground members will confirm there have been no material changes to the ground or its operation that materially affects any of the documentation supplied to the CPSA, providing updated documentation where appropriate. 

CPSA Club and Ground members agree that when operating Registered events that they will be on CPSA approved layouts and conducted in accordance with current CPSA rules and regulations. 

CPSA Club and Ground members declare that they have adequate insurance, not limited to public, product and employer’s liability insurance and will maintain such insurance without interruption and agree to indemnify the CPSA as a result of the failure of the Club to maintain adequate insurance.
