Statement from East Yorkshire Gun Club regarding their new tenants - Friday 17th May 2024
EYGC NEW TENANTS
We are pleased to announce that we have appointed Dennis and Ryan Willey as our new tenants effective 1st July 2024
Dennis and his two sons Ryan and Callum will be known to some of you as regular competitors at the ground for a number of years, and their enthusiasm for the sport and the ground is obvious to those who have met them.
It is their intention to have the ground operational for practice by l st August followed by registered competitions, subject to inspection and registration with CPSA shortly after.
Plans are in place with Promatic to order traps and electrical/ electronic control gear to provide the following:-
2 x OT layouts suitable for Olympic Trap, Universal Trench and ABT.
2 x further ABT layouts
4 x DTL layouts
2 x Olympic/ English Skeet layouts
1 x Compac / Sportrap layout
1 x Sporting layout
Further investment is planned after the first/second year of operating.
We hope to arrange an open meeting for members to meet with Dennis, Ryan and Callum shortly after they take over the lease in July.
The process of selecting our new tenant has been a long and complicated task, and we thank you for your patience during this period. Our priority has been to select a tenant who understands the rights and needs of our members, as well as the wider shooting community. We ask you extend a warm welcome to them, as they are fully committed to the club for the long term.
