Andy Cairns Memorial Charity Shoot

A memorial shoot for Andy Cairns will be held at Grange Farm Sporting Clays, Newtown Unthank, Leicestershire on Saturday 8th November 2025 with all money raised going to Help for Heroes and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Andy was well known on the clay pigeon circuit as both a referee (locally and nationally) and a keen countryman.
Adam Curtis, of Grange Farm has generously agreed to donate a large proportion of the £30 flat entrance fee to these charities with any other donations received in Andy’s name going towards raffle prizes and / or to these charities.
The 60-target, eight stand course will include different clay pigeon disciplines including English sporting, Skeet and Supersporting, plus the chance to win a prize by hitting one of the random “Flash” clays.
In order to encourage people from AAA to C class to come along there will a high-gun prize of £150 plus a trophy and the winning Colt / Junior will receive 250 cartridges. Instead of high-gun prizes in each classification every competitor, irrelevant of their score, will be entered into the prize draw with a chance to win various cash prizes, practical shooting related items, cartridges, free future competition entries, a food hamper, a gift voucher (£50 value), bottles of spirits and many other both useful and fun prizes.
Re-entries will be accepted with each entry being included in the prize draw so the more times you enter the higher your chance of winning a prize.
Winner’s names / numbers will be posted in the club house and on-line as soon as practical along with a list of our generous sponsors.
So, if you’re a AAA shooter averaging 98 /100 or a C class competitor new to the sport, please come along for a fun day out, a chance to win a prize and you’ll be helping to support two worthwhile charities.
