New Rules for Non-Returned Score Cards

head-office

Following a review of the issue of some score cards not being returned at Registered shoots the Board have agreed new rules to address the matter. The current rules specify that grounds must submit missing scores by reference to the master score sheet and this will not change, but there are no specified penalties for non-returned cards.
Under the new rules, any member failing to return the card will face a scale of penalties up to and including the following:

i) De-classified from competition membership for 6 months. Only allowed to shoot Birds only. Not eligible to win anything, including county or regional championships (County and Regional committees will be notified).
ii) Not allowed to enter Majors that year.
iii) Not eligible for Top 20.
iv) Not allowed to drop to a lower class

This rule will come into effect from 1st January 2018.
