CPSA Awards

head-office

The CPSA Awards take place on Saturday 4 February 2017 at the Belfry Hotel & Resort.

Lots has changed this year and we are proud to bring you a completely new look event to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals, clubs and other organisations that help to promote and develop clay shooting in England.

There are ten different awards which will be presented on the night and they all focus on a different aspect of the sport to acknowledge outstanding achievement in that field.

The Award categories are as follows:

  • Clay Shooter of the Year
  • Coach of the Year
  • Disabled Shooter of the Year
  • Young Shot of the Year
  • Special Contribution Award
  • Club/Ground of the Year
  • Development Initiative of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • County Committee of the Year

Last year Mark Winser was named Clay Shooter of the Year - and he was clearly very proud to have collected the award.

"I was nominated by members, so it's quite humbling and a lovely feeling knowing that people are rooting for you. I'm used to winning shooting competitions on my own merit, but I won Clay Shooter of the Year from a lot of other people's recommendations."
