Lispopple Clay Target Club in Ireland played host to the 42nd Olympic Skeet Home International on Sunday 14 August. 

It was a clean sweep for England in the team events, taking the honours for both the senior and the L, J, V & SV team events. Ireland finished runners-up on each occasion.

Northern Ireland’s Gareth McAuley took the Overal High Gun, shooting 95 ex 100. James Rounsevell had a successful day shooting for England. James won the Junior High Gun, recording 93 ex 100 and also picked up the New Cap High Gun in the process. 

There was success for England across the categories. Lara Dale, Frank Miller and Stephen Miller all took the High Gun in the Ladies, Veterans and Super Veterans respectively.

The next Home International is in the OTR discipline and takes place this coming weekend (Saturday 20 - Sunday 21 August) at Griffin-Lloyd Shooting Ground in Wales.
