The Game Fair 2016

head-office

Friday 29 – Sunday 31 July

The CPSA will be exhibiting at The Game Fair at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire on Gunmakers Row and as part of The Shooting Line from July 29-31. Bringing our expert skills and knowledge, there will be the opportunity for the whole family to interact and take part in a range of activities.

We will be running a ‘Have a Go’ Clayline stand, where anyone can come and shoot some clays under the guidance of our CPSA qualified instructors. The Clayline will feature 5 stands and can be enjoyed by everyone – whether young, old, novice or future top shot. Additionally, there will also be the chance to come and try the Akkar Triple Barrel shotgun.

Ross Elgie will be among the Team England Shooters on hand over the three days to offer some advice and inspiration to the future generations of shooters.

On top of this there will be two competitions taking place throughout the weekend. The Champion of Champions takes place on Saturday July 30 and is made up of the top Sporting Shooter from each County. The competition will see each contestant shoot a qualifying round, with the top ten coming back for a semi-final, before the top 5 compete in a shoot off to decide the winner.‬

The inspiring Colts Challenge will be held on the Sunday. The competition features the top ten young (under 16) English Sporting shooters divided into two semi-final sets of 5, with the top 5 then selected for a shoot-off. This is a unique opportunity for any thriving amateurs and young shots to see their peers in action.

If all this gets you hooked, there will be CPSA staff on hand across the weekend to chat to about the memberships we offer, renewing your membership and the chance to enter a competition or two. So whether you are new to the sport, or an existing CPSA member attending The Game Fair, come down and say ‘Hello!’
