Success At The Lonato European Championships

The CPSA would like to congratualte British Shooting's double trap squad on their recent success at the Lonato European Championships.

The action took place across eight days in Italy and saw the British team walk away with an individual gold, two team golds, junior team silver and one individual bronze.

Rachel Parrish picked up the first medal, becoming double trap champion, before Matt Coward-Holley beat teammate Tim Kneale to secure bronze in the senior men’s competition. 

Steve Scott completed the men's team who were crowned European Champions, just a year after becoming World Champions at the same venue. 

In the junior men’s double trap, strong performances from GB Academy shooters James Dedman, Connor Gorsuch and Lewis Ramsey saw them take team silver. 

Matt Coward-Holley and Rachel Parish rounded off a successful Championships by winning mixed team gold.
