British Open English Sporting Venue Announcement

head-office

We are delighted to announce that the 2016 British Open English Sporting will be hosted by High Lodge Leisure.

The championship, running for its 91st year, will take place from August 31 to September 4.

Created by shooting legend John Bidwell, High Lodge is a CPSA-recognised Premier Plus location nestled among 120 acres of tranquil woodland on the Suffolk coast, boasting some of the finest facilities in the country.

The British Open will be supported by Zoli and Gamebore.

The event will follow the same format as last year, with shooters taking on a 120-target course during the qualification days, in a bid to return for Sunday’s finals day. The finals day will then see the shooters fight it out for a place in the six-man super-final to decide who wins The Daily Telegraph Championship Trophy.

Bookings will open for this on February 1.

Steve Brightwell won the 2015 British Open English Sporting, held at Garlands Shooting Ground.
