OSK UK Championships
On the 10th & 11th May, the BICTSF hosted the UK Championships at National Clay Shooting Centre. In addition this year the shoot was part of the British Shooting shotgun series and the final England selection shoot.
This is the second year running NCSC has hosted the UK championship, 38 shooters were greeted with excellent weather on the Saturday for the start of competition.
Congratulations to Phoebe Bodley-Scott who was the overall winner on an incredible score of 121. Setting a new British Junior ladies record in the process. Arran Eccleston took runner up spot, with another British shooting MQS of 120. Luke Young was in bronze place with 115.
Phoebe went on to take Ladies and Junior Ladies high gun trophies. In the ladies category Sophie Herrmann and Jessica Burgess shot off for the silver medal with Sophie coming out the winner. In junior ladies Sophie took sliver with Katy Essex taking the last step on the podium
In Junior men’s Henry Lungley, usually seen on the sporting circuit was high gun, followed by runner up Charles Worrall, with Harry Reveler picking up the bronze medal. Des Davies won the veterans trophy, runner-up went to Frank Miller, and the local Reg Redjeb took third place.
All Class winners received a gold medal, these went to: A Class Arran Eccleston, B Class Phoebe Bodley-Scott, C Class Charles Worrall and D Class Andrew Woolliscroft.
Finals were added for Men and Women this year for British Shooting, in the Ladies final Phoebe shot and equally impressive 55 – another record broken for junior women. In the men’s final Arran took the gold with a 54.

The BICTSF will next be hosting the Olympic Skeet British Grand Prix at Eaton Hall on 13th & 14th September 2025, where we will again be fundraising for Mummy’s Star Charity in support of Sarah Wright (nee Gray), a highly respected member of the Olympic Skeet community who sadly passed away from cancer three years ago. The Ladies Trophy at the British Grand Prix is the Sarah Wright nee Gray cup.
