Roger Hurley 1946 - 2025
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Roger Hurley, former Managing Director and owner of Lyalvale Express Ltd.
Roger purchased Lyalvale Express in 1998 and led the company with integrity, passion, and a strong sense of purpose until April 2022. During his 24 years at the helm, he transformed the business into one of the UK’s leading names in ammunition manufacturing, guiding it through decades of growth and change with steady leadership and a clear vision.
More than just a successful businessman, Roger was deeply respected by all who worked with him. He believed in people — giving many employees opportunities to grow, develop their careers, and contribute meaningfully to the company’s success. His support and mentorship left a lasting impression on countless individuals, many of whom still remain part of the Lyalvale Express team today.
Roger’s legacy is not only seen in the continued strength of the business but also in the culture of loyalty, respect, and dedication that he helped build. His contribution to both Lyalvale Express and the wider shooting industry will not be forgotten.
