Jack (Jackie) Broughton : 25/7/1932 – 10/2/2023
It is with the greatest sadness that we must report the passing of Jack Broughton. Jack was one of Lincolnshire’s and England’s finest DTL shots with a career that spanned many decades. His prowess at DTL gained him a place in the England DTL team many times both as a senior and a veteran where he was a popular team member and a well-respected team captain. You will also find his name on some of the most prestigious of the CPSA trophies.
He was a great competitor but also an immensely likeable character who was never stuck for something to say and never spoiled a story. His wife, Audrey, was always by his side and we send our condolences to her and their family.
A funeral service will be held to celebrate Jack’s life on 8th March at 12.30 pm at Boston Crematorium, Marian Road, Boston PE21 9HA.
