How to Hit Series 2 Episode 2 'The Rising Teal Target'

general

The second episode in series two of our How to Hit series tackles the rising teal target. This target is named after the small duck that is known for its habit, when flushed, of taking off at a steep angle and climbing rapidly up and away from the shooter.

On a Sporting layout, this target may be simulated with a trap set on the ground and some distance in front of the shooting stand, often concealed behind a barricade or natural foliage. The trap is angled up and away from the shooter, so the target rapidly gains height and distance.

The video below will guide you through the best way to tackle the rising teal target. You can also read more about it in June's Pull! magazine.
