100 Straight Club Championship Report

general

The 100 Straight Skeet Club Championship took place on Sunday 25 March at Northampton Shooting Ground. 79 competitors turned out on what proved to be one of the best days weather-wise that we have had this year.

Martine and the team at Northampton did their normal superlative best and the shoot progressed faultlessly.

At the end of the day there were only two 100 straights from Peter Collins and Neil Faulkner. Following a tense shoot off, Peter eventually emerged victorious to become the 2018 100 straight Club Champion.

Wendy Allen took the honours in the Ladies category, Peter Collins also took the Veterans title, Luke Daniels was Junior champion and Henry Lungley won the Colts.

Congratulations to all the winners who received the Olympic Skeet Club medals and trophies and to the two 100 straight shooters who also received the Vall Fraser memorial medals . The 100 straight memorial medals will be presented to all who shoot 100 straight at a CPSA National Skeet Championship or one of the Four NSSA Championships each year, as well as the 100 straight Club Championship.
