CPSA Member Awarded OBE

Pauline 'Polly' Jarvis has been appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen's New Years Honours List.

Jarvis, who was rewarded for her services to Policing, is a CPSA member who shoots at Nottingham and District Gun Club. She was appointed after 44 years of service with Nottinghamshire Police and the East Midlands Special Operations Unit (EMSOU), in particular for her work for the CCTV Evidence Investigation team. Polly has played a key role in detecting many of the most high-profile murders in recent Nottinghamshire history.

The CPSA would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Polly.

Jarvis was one of two CPSA members to be credited in the Honours List, with Joe Neville recieving an MBE for his services to shooting.
