24 April Letter to Clubs and Grounds

coronavirus-covid-19

The following excerpt is from an email update sent by National Development Manager Richard Worthington on 24 April to all CPSA Club and Ground members, we are posting it here as we think the contents may be of interest to all CPSA members:

'...I just wanted to update you on developments from our end in that we are communicating with the Secretary for Culture, Media & Sport regarding the potential easing of restrictions and that shooting be considered along with golf courses and fishing locations where there is little or no spectator involvement in normal day to day operations.

Our CEO Iain Parker is also working with the British Shooting Sports Council (BSSC) to produce a paper to the Government regarding shooting and how we can start up again with some social distancing guidelines in the hopefully near future... rest assured that we are working to get clay shooting open again as soon as practically and safely as possible.

Stay safe, stay well and thank you again for your continued support of the CPSA.'
