English Open ESP Day 2

championships

Day 2 brought a change in weather, with colder temperatures and a brisk wind replacing the sunshine of Day 1. Despite the shift, spirits remained high and the course – expertly set by Andy Coppen and the team at High Lodge – continues to receive excellent feedback for its variety and championship-level challenge.

One of the standout scores of the day came from colt shooter Thomas Croucher, who shot an impressive 108ex120 – a great result from a rising talent. Well done also to Sean Gamblen, with a High Gun score of the day of 109ex120.

With three more days of competition ahead and plenty of big names still to take on the course, the question remains: will anyone be able to top Phil Gray’s 118ex120 from Day 1?

Best of luck to everyone still to shoot!
