English Open ESP Day 1

championships

The first day of the CPSA English Open Sporting has been a scorcher, with the weather set to stay warm and sunny all week.

The Sporting course, set by Andy Coppen and the team at High Lodge, has been receiving glowing feedback. Shooters have been enjoying the challenging targets, which are living up to the championship standard.

Leading the way at the end of Day 1 is Phil Gray, who delivered an outstanding performance with 118ex120. Not far behind is Brett Winstanley on 113ex120 – another strong score on what's already proving to be a well-received and challenging course.

With four more days of competition to go and plenty of top talent still to shoot, it remains to be seen whether Phil’s impressive total will hold. It's shaping up to be an exciting week of action at High Lodge!

As always, we’d like to wish the best of luck to everyone competing. Will Phil stay on top, or will someone else rise to the challenge?

We still have a few spaces available to shoot this competition, so if you are interested in competing please call our championship hotline at 01483 485 419.
