World English Sporting 2023 - Day Seven
What a difference a day makes with a very warm start to the day and temperatures rising to 28º by mid afternoon on this penultimate day of the CPSA World English Sporting at E J Churchill Shooting Ground.
Today, we saw the final rotation of the main World Sporting including the international teams, tackling the Blue & Red Course courses plus the final of the World Sportrap and the Super Sporting.
Stand out scores of the day on the World Sporting was US shooter Brandon Powell with a scorching 97ex100 on the Red Course with fellow countrymen Joe Fanizzi and Mike Wilgus both close behind on 95 and we look forward to seeing how they fare on the Blue Course tomorrow.
Today we saw the conclusion of the World Sportrap with Guy Franklin securing the title by default as Christophe Auvret did not return. Many congratulations Guy!
We also saw the conclusion of the Super Sporting today and Richard Faulds' 96 took the High Gun title outright. Many congratulations to Richard too!
