World English Sporting 2023 - Day Three
A day of four seasons today with cool conditions, wind, rain and lovely sunshine but it didn't dampen the spirits of the shooters taking to all four competitions on day three of the CPSA World English Sporting at E J Churchill Shooting Ground.
Phil Gray shooting the Red Course today on the World Sporting put in a superb 94ex100 with Thomas Weston (Red Course) & Sam Green (Red Course) both close behind on 92 and John Lee (Red Course), Guy Franklin (Blue Course) and Michael Cyffin-Jones (Blue Course) all on 91.
Top scores today on the World Sportrap were Nathan Hales and Michael Hibbert on 91ex100 with Cheryl Hall just one behind on 90 but Billy Greenwood still holds the top spot with his 92 from Saturday.
On the first day of the Super Sporting, US shooter Derrick Mein top scored with 93ex100 with Mark Goddard on 91, Colin Waite on 90, American Nick Berry, Australian shooter Adam Shale, Junior shooter Teddy Taylor and Mickley Hall's Scott Barnett all tied on 89ex100.
Last but certainly not least, in the Prelim ESP, 17 year old, Junior shooter Troy Thornell scored a cracking 96ex100 with Karl Hagan on 95 and Robert Allen on 90.
