Each day the shooters will shoot 100 DTL targets, with prizes available each day and a special party on the Saturday night to commemorate the Dougall Memorial Trophy’s momentous birthday.

The weekend opens with a Sponsored DTL, with a huge array of prizes on offer thanks to the generous support of Blaser and Eley Hawk. Friday will see 3,000 cartridges handed out, courtesy of Eley Hawk, to the winners of each class and category as well as the top three overall. The overall High Gun will also receive a Blaser Travel Bag, with the runner up winning a Blaser Gun Slip and third place winning an Eley Gun Slip. Blaser and Eley will also each be donating a Gun Slip to each Class winner and runner up respectively, with the Category champions getting an Eley Range Bag.

The Saturday brings about the 120th Anniversary of the Dougall Memorial Trophy – one of the oldest trophies in the sport having first been presented in 1896. To celebrate this, we have organised a party! Supported by the Bywell, Blaser, Eley and the CPSA, the party will take place on the Saturday evening once shooting has finished for the day. The tickets are subsidised to £5 for competitors (£10 for non-competitors) and are inclusive of food. There are a few tickets still available which you can purchase upon arrival at the ground. We hope you can join us in celebrating this historic moment!

As well as the Dougall Memorial Trophy, Saturday will also see the five-person Blaser Super Shoot Off. This will be competed between the winners of each class, as well as the top scorer from either the Ladies, Veterans, Juniors or Colts category, in the Dougall Memorial. Blaser have donated prizes for this – an F3, a Travel Bag and a Gun Slip for first, second and third respectively. Eley have once again donated cartridges as prizes for the main Dougall Memorial event and there will be cash prizes for the top three in each class.

We close the weekend with the English Open. Once more Eley Hawk has donated cartridges to the prize package and there will also be cash prizes to the top three in each class, as we find out who will take the English Open crown, which was won by Michael Turner in the 2015.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Blaser and Eley Hawk for their sponsorship of the weekend, which we know will be a fascinating three days of competition.
