Episode 1: An Introduction to the Rules of FITASC Sporting

In Series 4 Episode 1, CPSA Level 3 Senior Coach Simon Arbuckle gives us an introduction to FITASC Sporting, the international version of sporting clays that is growing in popularity. This episode covers the basics of FITASC Sporting, such as how to shoot without pre-mounting, and how to read the menu.

Episode 2: Shooting Procedure and Target Order in FITASC Sporting

In Series 4 Episode 2, Simon covers how to shoot from the hoop and the procedure of shooting FITASC targets.

 

Episode 3: The change in target presentations between stands in FITASC Sporting.

In Series 4 Episode 3, Simon covers how target presentations can change as you move between hoops on a layout, despite being thrown from the same traps on the same trajectories.

 

Episode 4: Movement in the Hoop on Single Targets in FITASC Sporting.

In this episode, Simon demonstrates the wide range of movement within the hoop required to shoot targets that can be spread out over a wide arc, and emphasises the safety aspects of this that are addressed by control of the squad by the referee.

 

Episode 5: Minimal Movement of Feet for Shooting Pairs.

In this video, Simon demonstrates how foot movement between shots on pairs can be minimised by ensuring correct identification of the visual pick-up point, gun hold point, and break point.

Episode 6: 180 Degree Movement of Feet for Shooting Pairs.

In this video, CPSA Senior Coach Simon Arbuckle demonstrates how to shoot pairs in FITASC with movement of the feet between the two shots of up to 180 degrees.
