Firstly, I’d to thank everyone who took the time to nominate me. Knowing that people have recognised my efforts means a great deal. After working on the Fujairah Mountain Shooting Championship at the start of the year, this became my first year stepping into a coaching role and it has also been my most consistent year shooting. Balancing both has grounded me, and reminded me why I love this sport so much. My achievements this year include: • European Compak – 4th Overall • European FITASC – Bronze • Eurocash – Bronze • British Open Super Sporting – Silver • English Open Sporting – Champion • British Open Sporting – Champion • Becoming only the second person ever to win both the English Open and British Open Sporting in the same year |
I feel very honoured to be nominated for this award especially at aged 15. My highlight was winning the Beretta World and the DT11 Pyramide, which I am now shooting. I am now lucky enough to be sponsored by Beretta and Eley which is a perfect combination for me. For the 3rd year in a row in Colts I manged to win both the English and British, in that same period winning the 2 World Colt titles held in UK. For me, the highlight of the English Sporting calendar was seeing the margin Phil Gray won by in the British and English. The standard of shoots this year was incredible, I enjoyed every single one which the shooters, scorers and organisers all made run seamlessly.
