The third leg of the 2019 Premier League series took place at Atkin Grant & Lang on Saturday 13th April with another entertaining 100 target shoot set over 13 stands.

The weather was almost perfect this time despite the odd bit of rain and hail and over 210 shooters enjoyed the course set by Charlie Stewart-Wood.

Four shooters Taylor Hedgecock, Dean Gibbs, Steve Whitelock & Mark Bowes all tied on 94 ex 100 until very late in the day when Michael Hibbert came in with a superb 96 ex 100 to take the High Gun honours and the £250 prize money.

In respect of the Premier League participants, Owls Lodge's Neil Lockton & Highwayman's Joe Norman both in A Class scored 97 with their handicaps applied just pipping B Class shooters Dennis Pettitt from Team Cambridge and Rebecca Elmore from Team Sporting Targets on 96 each with their handicaps applied.

From a team perspective, Cambridge took the top ten honours this time with a 932 ex 1,000 with Team Southdown runners up with 912 ex 1,000 so well done to all.

After 3 shoots it's very close with the top teams being only a few clays apart so we now look forward to the next shoot at Westfield Shooting Ground on Sunday 28th April.
