Premier League 2019

championships

The second leg of the 2019 Premier League series took place in quick succession after the opening fixture, this time at Owls Lodge Shooting School on Saturday 9th March, with a 100 Registered Sporting shoot set over 14 stands and over 260 entries taking part in the event.

However, this time they had gale force winds to contend with instead of the mist endured at E J Churchills!

Despite this, there was still some incredible shooting with Martin Myers securing the High Gun honours with an amazing 98 ex 100 ahead of Ricky Draper on 95 ex 100 and Chris Childerhouse on 94 ex 100.

From a Premier League perspective, Team Cambridge B Class shooter Dennis Pettitt scored a superb 94 ex 100 with his handicap applied to tie with Team Southdown's Chris Childerhouse so many congratulations to him too.

From a team perspective, Team Owls Lodge took honours with a strong home top ten score of 868 ex 1,000 ahead of Team Southdown's 855 ex 1,000 and Team Cambridge just one point behind on 854 ex 1,000.

We now look forward to the next leg in the series and hopefully calm Spring like conditions at Atkin Grant & Lang on Saturday 13th April but in the meantime please click here for the scores so far.

Team registrations are still open and to be eligible for a share of the fantastic series prize fund from our generous sponsors Browning, Promatic, Gamebore, & Sunglassses for Sport you must register for a team and shoot a minimum of 5 of the 10 fixtures.
