Graham Walker

Having played rugby from both Camberley and for Surrey, I started shooting in the early eighties. I have shot all the clay disciplines to a reasonable standard, including shooting at County level and in Home Internationals. I have also been fortunate enough to get my name on some of the CPSA silverware.

In my professional life, I trained as a design engineer for Marconi, moving into selling in the late seventies. I then set up and ran my own business in 1982. I also instruct clay shooting at several venues.

I have worked on several boards in my career, latterly as a director of the CPSA. I understand all aspects of running a company having run my own business for the last 33 years and fully understand the obligations and duties of a director.

My goal, through instruction and coaching of our athletes, is the promotion of our sport through the reported success in the media of our shooting teams and individuals. This will generate the desire in others to take up shooting clays, whether it be just as a social pastime or to be a top performer. The more interest we generate, the more members we will attract and the more benefits we will be able to put back into our sport.
