Tony Heeks

North Region Director & Vice Chairman

I have been a member of the CPSA for 35 years.  During this time I have shot as a member of the England Sporting Team from 1978 to 1989.  In 1989 I had the honour of being the England Team Sporting Captain.  Since 1992 I have been the England Sporting Team Manager and continue to fulfil this role.

For the last 10 years I have been an active member of the CPSA Board of Directors, representing the North Region.  I am pleased to record that I have attended every Board Meeting since first being elected.  I continue to be a member of the North Region CPSA Committee and in the same period have only had to miss two meetings.

Although my chosen discipline is Sporting, I have attended events on behalf of the CPSA at all other disciplines including DTL, Skeet and ABT, attending over 15 events in 2005.

As Deputy Chairman I have been required, on two occasions during the last 5 years, to fulfil the role of Chairman when the holders of that office resigned.  I am a passionate supporter of our sport and our association.

What is clay shooting?
