Testimonials

Following the success of this year’s British Open Sporting Championships we would like to share with you some of the comments we have received.
"Just wanted you guys and the team at Hodnet to know what a great and well run shoot the British Open Sporting was, targets were set very well and no waiting made it easier to shoot well. I have spoken to lots of shooters since I shot it on Thursday and they all have said the best shoot they have attended for years so well done all, as for George Digweed awesome."
"Congratulations on a very good event. I called a few people and everyone was pleased with the targets, arrangements and the number of people staying around. Certainly, we had more discussions with customers than normal."
"Fantastic course beautiful setting and well run/organised - congratulations to all concerned"
"Visiting the West Midlands Shooting Ground turned out to be a very fruitful trip. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality. We have learned a lot about shooting as a sport in general, and the sporting category which we hadn't known anything about. We have seen some amazing shooting skills, met enthusiastic participants both young and senior and enjoyed the whole vibrant atmosphere of the championship.
"Thank you again to you for spending time with us, and please also send our warmest regards to your excellent staff members."
"The British was FANTASTIC and a real credit to Hodnet and the CPSA for all of the hard work put into it. Please, please, please keep it at Hodnet for the foreseeable future! It is by far the best ground around and thoroughly deserving of the British. I'm annoyed that I'm away this weekend on holiday otherwise I'd be going to shoot the course again on Saturday!"
I hope you can now take this forward to future events i.e. 120 and 15 stands, this has worked for the Beretta World for many years and that event is as popular as always even given that the venue is not convieniently positioned for many of us.
I hope everyone has learnt from this event that the format and a centrally located ground will make future events even more popular as word has spread around to shooters who did not shoot this event this year following the dismal english open this year ( poor birds, poor ground and poor format ) who can't now wait to shoot next year if you keep the same system going.
Many thanks for providing a great day"
