Some Trade Membership Questions Answered

Q. When did the new scheme begin?
A    1st May 2008
Q. Why?
A. To commemorate our 80th anniversary
Q. Is the scheme changing?
A. Yes, benefits are changing, the price is changing and we are re-aligning the membership scheme for all members for renewal in January (commencing 2009)
Q. What happens if my membership becomes due to renewal before January 2009
A. You will be sent a renewal notice with a “pro-rata” request for payment to take you from your renewal date to January 2009. In January you will be sent a renewal for 12 months from January 2009

Q. What happens if I want to upgrade my membership early?

A. From 1st May 2008 you will be more than welcome to upgrade your membership in order to benefit from the new scheme.  Contact HQ and advise them of your wish.  An invoice will be sent to you, worked on a pro rata basis and taking into account the money already paid until your renewal date.  Once this payment has been made, your new benefits will apply. Please note however, that rationalisation of the scheme will still take place in January 2009 as discussed above.
