Mike Williams
Technical Manager (email mike@cpsa.co.uk)
Although the “latest” recruit to the Headquarters team, Technical Manager Mike Williams has been involved with the CPSA since the early nineties. One of the founder members of the Rules and Referees sub committee, Mike has been a coaching staff tutor since 1995 which also coincides with the date that he passed the senior safety officer award.
As his new position is Bisley based, Mike has resigned from the East Midlands Regional Committee, on which he has served since 1990, when he was a delegate from Cambridgeshire County Committee whom he served as member, secretary and finally, Chairman.
Mike brings to the role a great deal of senior management experience and expertise gained at board level in the fields of electronic instrumentation, IT Hardware, Software and pharmaceuticals, culminating in running his own Lincolnshire and High Tower Shooting Ground for the last ten years.
Passionate about shooting and coaching in particular, Mike is looking to establish the CPSA Instructor and Coaching Courses as the de facto standard for Shot Gun courses available anywhere and to attain that recognition from the relevant authorities.
