JOHN PERRY A.I.C.S.I.

Following a career in the leisure, marketing and adverting industries, I joined the CPSA as Operations Manager in 2005, working in a variety of roles leading up to my appointment as Interim CEO in March 2010.

My two years working as the Coordination Manager for the NATSS Steering Group enabled me to gain a broad knowledge of all target shooting sports organisations.

I have previously enjoyed several years as a member of the Greater London Committee and Manager of the England Skeet team, which have given me a solid grounding and understanding of the Association’s activities from the grass-roots up to the elite level.

I am a keen Skeet and .22 rifle competitor and have qualified as a CPSA Instructor and NSRA Air Rifle Instructor.

 

What is clay shooting?

Clay pigeon shooting is the art of shooting at special flying targets, known as clay pigeons or clay targets, with a shotgun.
