New Committee:

A new committee has now been elected at the A.G.M. on the 11th January 2008.
We appreciate that due to the severe weather conditions many members were not able to attend the meeting, and so the new committee will get all your trophies, and badges to the winners as soon as we possibly can.

WELL DONE TO ALL FOR 2007:
A special thanks to the fantastic shooting efforts of our Juniors, Ladies, and Veterans.
 
The Ladies have won the West Midlands Area County Shield.
The Veterans have also won the West Midlands Area County Shield.
The Juniors were runners up to their West Midlands Area Shield.

This is an amazing result for us, especially as we still don't have a registered shooting ground in Hereford & Worcester to practice at, and all our Inter-County Championships have to take place a long distance away.
This shows the great committment we all have for our shooting in the County, and I appreciate all that committment, especially with the rising costs of shooting.

The County Fixtures for 2008 are now on the website under "Championship Dates".

After a recent committee meeting it has been decided that we will not be sending out a hard copy of the dates, but you can print the dates off the website, or ask any member of the committee for a hard copy.
This decision was made in light of increased postal charges, and a fee from the National C.P.S.A. for sending out these fixtures, as they have all the members addresses.

We hope this does not cause any difficulties, but as you are now viewing this message on our website, and can view the new fixtures from this website, it seems pointless sending out hard copies!
 

 

New Shooting Ground

Some of our members are making use of a new shooting ground at Ombersley, called Park Farm.

You can shoot:

• 2 trap layouts of D.T.L. or A.B.T. (No restriction on wads).
• A Sporting layout (FIBRE WADS ONLY).

This ground is open every Thursday from 3pm to 8pm until mid September.
