Carl Fielding

West Midlands Region Director

I have been shooting clays for over 25 years and am married to Ann, who also shoots.
We have both been members of, and actively involved with the CPSA, at County and Regional level for most of this time.

I am a member of the Staffordshire County Committee and have served as Treasurer and Regional Representative for many years. I have benefited from this experience as it keeps contact with other shooters.

At West Midlands Region I became a member of the CPSA Management Board before its change to its present status. I am now Chairman of a very robust West Midlands Committee.

English Skeet is my main discipline, but I enjoy shooting Trap and Sporting. I first qualified for the England Skeet Team in 2003, shooting 100 straight at my first Home International. Since then I have been a member of the Team on three more occasions.

I now have the responsibility of sitting as a member of the CPSA Board of Directors, representing my Region. I will continue to work hard for the sport that I love, and to making it even better for all CPSA Members.

What is clay shooting?

Clay pigeon shooting is the art of shooting at special flying targets, known as clay pigeons or clay targets, with a shotgun.
